Darth Vader
In the original triology we get to learn about the malevolent Darth Vader. Vader once was a jedi abiding in the light side of the force. However, he succumbed to the dark side, becoming a sith lord. He answers to the malevolent Darth Sidious. Vader is the father of Luke Skywalker. This was disclosed in one instalment. Anakin Skywalker who opted for the dark side sustained severe injuries in a clash against Obi-Wan Kenobi. Hence, he wears his suit and helmet. Even though sinister, something benign resided deep within him. This is my first entry in my blog about Star Wars characters.
