Luke befriends Obi-Wan Kenobi who resides in the vicinity. Luke begins desiring to attain the rank of jedi, abiding in the ways of the Force. Luke held residence at a homestead. Luke resolves to join Obi-Wan, embarking on a quest. A message was extracted from a droid called R2D2. In the message, princess Leia in plight implores help. Obi-Wan was mentioned. Luke is made privy to things pertaining to the Force. Luke will later learn that Vader is his father. Luke detects that the dark side of the force hasn't entirely engulfed his father though. Luke will collaborate with Han Solo as well.
